Systems Consultants Services

Systems Consultants Services (SCS) was established specifically to provide independent consultancy support, primarily but not exclusively to the defence sector, combining technical expertise, practical experience and domain knowledge.

Mothership and SCS have pooled their expertise to form a joint venture SCS Mothership to develop RealityMAP and to realise opportunities for it in the military and civilian sectors.

MultiGen-Paradigm

We are pleased to announce a collaboration with MultiGen-Paradigm, a Computer Associates Company, to develop an IGES plug-in to MultiGen Creator.

MultiGen Creator is the industry's leading software for creating highly optimized, high fidelity realtime 3D content for use in visual simulation, urban simulation and other applications.

The Transporter plug-in is based on I-CAD and, for the first time, enables a user to load spline-based models into Creator, gives the user fine control over the final polygon count, and enables the resulting model to be incorporated into the OpenFlight scene.

The instructions for Transporter are available here, together with a downloadable copy of the plug-in.

Systems in Motion

Systems in Motion is a world-class producer of products for the development of high-performance, real-time 3D visualization applications. They are also a leading provider in Northern Europe of specialized consulting services within high-performance, real-time 3D visualization solutions.

Rational Reducer is their award-winning tool for reducing the number of polygons in 3D models, while preserving visual quality. It produces faster rendering and shorter download time. We have incorporated a subset of this software into I-CAD to allow the user extremely fine control over the conversion of spline-based models to polygons.
